Module 800 in TOMS

General Information

Computes eigenvalues of Hamiltonian matrices using the square-reduced method. This method transforms a Hamiltonian eigenvalue problem of order 2n to a Hessenberg eigenvalue problem of order n. Symplectic and norm scaling are provided, which may improve accuracy. Based on LAPACK. (See P. Benner et al., ACM TOMS 26 (2000) pp. 49-77).
