000405 The NAG Double Precision Fortran Library Mark 19 (FLIB619DA), which is a comprehensive collection of Fortran routines for the solution of numerical and statistical problems, has been installed in /itl/apps/naglib-19 for IBM RS6000s. This implementation is considered suitable for operation on the computer systems detailed below: hardware: IBM RISC System 6000 operating system: AIX v4.1 to v4.3 Fortran compiler: XL Fortran f77 and f90 v3.2 to v5.1 The libraries are accessible from /itl/links/generic/lib libnag.a libnag_sh.a The interface block files are supplied in pre-compiled module form. They are accessible from /itl/links/generic/lib/fl77_modules The -I"pathname" option should then be specified on each f90 invocation (where "pathname" is /itl/links/generic/lib/fl77_modules) to tell the compiler where to find the modules. Users should review the files http://www.cam.nist.gov/itl/apps/naglib-19/docs/doc/un.html http://www.cam.nist.gov/itl/apps/naglib-19/docs/doc/essint The latest online documentation is available at http://www.cam.nist.gov//itl/apps/naglib-19/docs/NAGdoc/fl/html/mark19.html Example material is available at http://www.cam.nist.gov/itl/apps/naglib-19/docs/examples.ibm For users outside the cam network, please refer to the following URL for instructions on mounting the /itl tree. http://www.cam.nist.gov/sw/remote-access.html Please contact the Scientific Applications and Visualization Group's consulting lab on extension 2968 with any question you may have.
