Package : FITPACK

 
Curve and surface fitting using splines under tension. Includes interpolatory
or smoothing splines with derivative, periodic or no end conditions;
interpolation of open or closed planar curves; and interpolation of 2D gridded
data. Includes evaluation of fitted functions, their derivatives and
integrals. Commercially available add-on package provides surface fitting in
special geometries, 3D curves and surfaces, automatic tensioning, and more.
