Module 767 in TOMS
A Fortran package for column reduction of polynomial matrices. Given a
polynomial matrix P, a unimodular polynomial matrix U and a column-reduced
polynomial matrix R are determined such that PU=R. A polynomial matrix is column
reduced if its column degrees which are as low as possible. Such systems play an
important role in modern systems theory. (See A.J. Geurts and C. Praagman, ACM
TOMS 23 (1997) pp. 111-129.).
