Module 603 in TOMS
COLROW and ARCECO: Fortran subroutines for solving certain almost block
diagonal linear systems by modified alternate row and column elimination.
COLROW is for systems whose blocks all have the same dimension; ARCECO is for
systems whose blocks may have different dimensions. (See J.C. Diaz, G.
Fairweather, and P. Keast, ACM TOMS 9 (1983) pp. 376-380.).
Classes : D2a2 . Solution of systems of linear equations, including matrix
inverses, and LU and related factorizations (real
nonsymmetric banded matrices)
E3d . Other service routines for interpolation
I1c . Service routines for ordinary differential equations
(e.g., interpolation of solutions, error handling, test
programs)
Type : Fortran software in TOMS collection.
Access : Some uses prohibited. Portable.
Precision: Single.
Usage : CALL COLROW (N, TOPBLK, NRWTOP, NOVRLP, ARRAY, NRWBLK, NCLBLK,
NBLOKS, BOTBLK, NRWBOT, PIVOT, B, X, IFLAG) AND CALL ARCECO (N,
