C05AZF

 
Locates a simple zero of a continuous function on a given interval by a combination
of the methods of linear interpolation, linear extrapolation and bisection. It
uses reverse communication for evaluating the function.
 
Classes  :  F1b . Solution of single general nonlinear equations
 
Type     : Fortran subroutine in NAG library (C05 sublibrary).
Access   : Proprietary. Many implementations available.
Precision: Double.
