Determine the string position indicating the starting position at which a key
character sequence begins without regard to case.
 
Classes  :  N3 .  Character manipulation
            N5c . Search on a key
 
Type     : Fortran subroutine in IMSLS library.
Access   : Proprietary. Many implementations available.
Precision: Single.
 
Usage    : I = IIDEX(CHRSTR, KEY)
